Michael E. Esmond received his BBA from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and his MBA from Gonzaga University in 2000. In 2004 he received a J.D. with Highest Honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law. While in law school Mr. Esmond worked as a clerk with the firm and as a Licensed Legal Intern with the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as the Managing Editor of the Tulsa Law Review and as a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. He was awarded the Order of the Curule Chair, the Oklahoma Bar Foundation’s Chapman-Rogers Scholarship, the Sellers & Bryant Oil & Gas Award, the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence, and several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Esmond served as an officer in the United States Air Force (1995-2000) and worked as an Assistant Vice President in the Small Business Banking Division of Bank One in Tulsa (2000-2002). Since joining the firm, Mr. Esmond’s practice has focused primarily in the area of general and commercial litigation.
